Current Research Rates

The full cost rates for research conducted at Lindcove REC for 2022-2023 have been approved. LREC is able to offer 50% funding for UC Research projects.  Non-UC research projects are charged  the full cost plus a Non-University fee of 36% to cover indirect costs.

PER ACRE: FULL COST PER ACRE = $3,547.40

NON-UC RESEARCH COST PER ACRE = $4,824.46

UC-LED RESEARCH COST PER ACRE (UC ANR Funded Down) = $1,850.00

PACK LINE USE HOURS: FULL COST PER HR = $60.23

NON-UC RESEARCH COST PER HR = $81.91

UC-LED RESEARCH COST (funded Down) = $30.00

FIELD/LAB LABOR HOURS: FULL COST PER LABOR HR = $49.65

NON-UC RESEARCH COST PER LABOR HR = $67.52

UC-LED RESEARCH COST PER LABOR HR (ANR Funded Down)= $29.00

Proposals may be submitted into to the REC Manage System via the Lindcove REC (http://lrec.ucanr.edu/Research/Submitting_a_Proposal).

The Center’s Research Advisory Committee will evaluate the proposed research and extension for scientific merit, regional appropriateness, and ability of Lindcove REC to provide the requested service. Researchers will receive by email a letter of acceptance if the project is approved for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Projects not approved will receive a detailed explanation of the reason for denial from the Center Director.
