Local Weather

There are two important sources of weather data information (soil and air temps, precipitation, dew point etc.) for the Lindcove Research and Extension Center. 

A Western Weather group station and software was installed at Lindcove REC in 2013.  This weather station takes hourly readings at 5' and 30' and so can provide information about temperature inversions.  You are welcome to use the Western Weather group web site to access the data and view real time weather data.

The CIMIS (California Irrigation Management Information System) weather station at Lindcove REC has been collecting data at LREC for decades and provides daily weather data. Visit CIMIS web site.
